BYD plans to build a factory in Brazil

BYD plans to invest 3 billion reais (about 4.5 billion yuan) to build its first electric vehicle factory outside of Asia in Brazil. Located in Bahia, the factory consists of three factories that produce electric buses, truck chassis and lithium iron phosphate battery materials.
