Italian government and Dongfeng Motor Group enter final stage of factory construction

According to reports, the Italian government has entered the final stage of negotiations with China's Dongfeng Motor Group on the construction of a factory. Italy currently has only one large automaker, Stellantis, and the negotiations with Dongfeng Motor are part of Italy's efforts to attract other automakers. The Italian government may participate in Dongfeng Motor Group's investment with a minority stake.
