Micron, Infineon and other companies expand production capacity in Penang, Malaysia

Companies such as Micron and Infineon are expanding production capacity in Penang, Malaysia to meet global demand for high-performance chips. Micron opened its second assembly and testing plant in Penang last year, while Infineon is building the world's largest silicon carbide (SiC) chip production base.
