Apple is considering partnering with Chinese tech companies to integrate artificial intelligence models into iPhones sold in China

According to people familiar with the matter, Apple is in preliminary talks with Tencent and ByteDance to explore the possibility of integrating the two companies' AI models into iPhones sold in China. Although Apple has begun to integrate OpenAI's ChatGPT in its devices and Siri will call ChatGPT, ChatGPT is not available in the Chinese market. At present, discussions about using Tencent and ByteDance's AI models are still in the early stages.
