Hertz orders less than half of expected Tesla electric vehicles

Although Hertz announced in 2021 that it planned to order 100,000 Tesla electric vehicles by the end of 2022, as of December 31, 2022, Hertz had only 48,344 Tesla electric vehicles worldwide, less than half of the expected number. This news once boosted Tesla's stock price.
