Amazon is considering a huge new investment in OpenAI competitor Anthropic

Amazon is reportedly discussing a second multi-billion dollar investment in OpenAI competitor Anthropic. The new deal is similar to Amazon's initial $4 billion investment in the startup last year. However, this time Amazon wants Anthropic to make concessions, requiring Anthropic, which uses Amazon's cloud services to train its artificial intelligence, to use a large number of servers powered by chips developed by Amazon.
