Northvolt has become the only mainstream electric vehicle battery manufacturer in Europe, with customers including Volkswagen and BMW. The company has also set up a factory in Canada. Although the growth rate of electric vehicle sales has slowed down, Northvolt CEO Peter Carlsson said that the basic direction of electric vehicles has not changed and will gradually replace internal combustion engine vehicles in the future.
