Investment in energy storage projects reached 169.3 billion yuan

According to the data from the Energy Storage Research Institute, in the first quarter of 2024, a total of 66 projects in China's new energy storage (electrochemical) field were signed, started and put into production, with a total investment of 169.3 billion yuan. Among them, there are 15 energy storage battery-related projects, with an investment of 10.88 billion yuan and a planned production capacity of more than 104GWh.
