The first project of Shanghai Tianyue Semiconductor Materials Co., Ltd. Lingang production base successfully passed the acceptance

In May 2024, the first project of Shanghai Tianyue Semiconductor Materials Co., Ltd.'s production base located in the Shanghai Lingang Heavy Equipment Industrial Zone was successfully completed and accepted. Since its establishment in June 2020, after several years of construction and adjustment, it was finally completed and accepted in the second quarter of 2024. The base was filed in the second quarter of 2021, with a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan to build a SiC wafer production line with a designed annual production capacity of 600,000 pieces. In 2023, the project underwent major adjustments. Although the investment amount and product planning remained unchanged, the overall production capacity increased due to technological updates. In mid-2023, the project entered the commissioning and trial production stage and completed acceptance in the second quarter of 2024. According to the company's announcement, the production capacity of the Shanghai base reached 300,000 pieces in May 2023 and gradually increased. As the main production base for 6-inch conductive SiC, the base has laid a solid foundation for the company's future development while achieving its established goals. At the same time, Tianyue's advanced 8-inch silicon carbide products have been sold in batches.
