Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan Expressway Hebei Section Starts Road Testing of Intelligent Connected Vehicles

On April 10, the Hebei section of the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan Expressway was officially put into use for road testing and demonstration applications of intelligent connected vehicles. Previously, the Beijing and Tianjin sections of the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan Expressway had been included in the Beijing Intelligent Connected Vehicle Policy Pilot Zone and the first batch of Tianjin Expressway Intelligent Connected Vehicle Test Sections. With the full opening of the first test expressway across Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, high-speed autonomous driving test vehicles in the policy pilot zone have achieved cross-domain recognition, and Beijing's autonomous driving heavy trucks have achieved intermodal transportation in three places.
