Magneti Marelli signs battery cold plate contract with global automaker

Magneti Marelli announced that it has reached an agreement with a global automaker to provide cold plate solutions for the latter's future electric vehicle batteries. Delivery is expected to start in 2024, and approximately 5 million battery cold plates are planned to be delivered to the Chinese, North American and European markets in the next five years. These battery cold plates will be produced in China, Mexico and Romania.
