SVOLT Energy and India's EXIDE sign second-phase cooperation agreement

Honeycomb Energy Technology Co., Ltd. announced that it had signed a second-phase cooperation agreement with India's EXIDE on June 7, marking the start of a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two parties and further increasing investment in the Indian market. Honeycomb Energy is a spin-off of Great Wall Motor's power battery department, focusing on the research, development, production and sales of new energy vehicle power batteries and energy storage battery systems, and is world-renowned for its ultra-high-speed stacking technology. In 2022, Honeycomb Energy signed a cooperation agreement with EXIDE to assist the latter in building a first-phase 6GWh lithium battery factory in India. The factory is expected to be put into production at the end of 2024, making EXIDE India's first super lithium battery company.
