Vietnamese electric car maker VinFast calls on India to lower import duties

Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of Vietnamese electric car manufacturer VinFast India, said VinFast has asked the Indian government to reduce import tariffs on electric vehicles for two years so that local consumers can become familiar with its products. At the same time, VinFast is investing in a local manufacturing plant.
