VinFast partners with Tamil Nadu to build $2 billion electric vehicle and battery manufacturing plant

VinFast and Tamil Nadu announced that they will jointly promote a project with an investment of up to US$2 billion, with an investment of US$500 million in the first five years of the project. The project includes the construction of an electric vehicle and battery manufacturing plant, which is expected to start construction this year and create 3,000 to 3,500 jobs locally.
