Tesla is close to reaching an electrode supply agreement with LG Energy Solution

Tesla is reportedly close to reaching an electrode supply agreement with South Korean company LG Energy Solution. LG Energy Solution will support Tesla's mass production of electric vehicles and help Tesla increase its internal battery production scale. It is reported that Tesla has ordered 6 trillion won (about 4.4 billion US dollars) worth of electrodes from LG Energy Solution, enough for 1.3 million to 1.4 million electric vehicles. Although Tesla has placed an order, the final details of the contract are still under discussion.
