Honda and Nissan, two major automakers, have officially signed a merger agreement, aiming to complete the integration by June 2025. If the merger is successful, the two companies will establish a new holding company and list it on the stock market, and Nissan and Honda will become wholly-owned subsidiaries of the company. In addition, Mitsubishi Motors has also expressed its willingness to participate in merger negotiations. Through this potential merger, the three companies hope to achieve joint sales of 30 trillion yen, achieve a profit increase of 1 trillion yen, and an annual operating profit of more than 3 trillion yen.
