STMicroelectronics and Kernel Collaborate to Create a New Era of Portable Healthcare

STMicroelectronics has collaborated with Kernel to develop a neuroimaging wearable device called Kernel Flow that can perform medical scans anywhere. The device uses time-domain near-infrared spectroscopy technology to ensure robust scanning in any situation while providing rich information. By embedding powerful computing power and custom algorithms into each sensor, the data transmission rate is effectively reduced, making the device more portable and easy to use.
