Albemarle Corporation's largest fixed asset investment project in China begins production

As one of the top 100 chemical companies in the world, Albemarle Corporation of the United States occupies a leading position in the energy storage, specialty chemicals and refining catalyst markets. Its largest fixed asset investment project in China, the Albemarle Sichuan 50,000-ton lithium hydroxide lithium battery material project, was officially put into production in Pengshan Economic Development Zone on April 26. This project is not only the largest single foreign direct investment manufacturing project introduced by Sichuan Province in 2021, but also a key support project for improving the quality and efficiency of foreign trade and economic cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce.
