The Dutch government invested 2.5 billion euros to retain ASML

The Dutch government announced that it will invest 2.5 billion euros to improve transportation and other infrastructure in the Eindhoven area, where ASML is headquartered, in order to ensure that ASML, the largest company in the Netherlands, does not move its business abroad. The funds will be used to improve housing, education, transportation and power grids in the coming years. ASML welcomed the Dutch government's plan, but is still deciding on its future direction.
