NIO plans to split its battery manufacturing business to reduce its reliance on CATL

NIO plans to spin off its battery manufacturing business in early December to achieve independent financing. The company's founder, Li Bin, personally tested the range of a 150kWh ultra-long-range battery pack, which was independently developed by NIO and is scheduled to be mass-produced in April 2024.
