Dongguan's first batch of major projects in 2023 will be launched, with Tianyu Semiconductor project taking the lead

On March 17, 2023, Dongguan City held a groundbreaking ceremony for the first batch of major projects this year, including 60 projects such as Tianyu Semiconductor, Everbright Semiconductor, and BYD Auto Parts. The investment in the Tianyu Semiconductor headquarters and production and manufacturing center project is as high as 8 billion yuan, making it the largest investment project in this event. The project is located in Songshan Lake Ecological Park and will be used to produce 6-inch/8-inch silicon carbide (SiC) epitaxial wafers.
