A German court ruled that Intel infringed on R2 Semiconductor's patents, resulting in a ban on the sale of several of its processors in Germany. The processors involved include Ice Lake, Tiger Lake, Alder Lake and Xeon Scalable "Ice Lake Server", as well as notebooks and servers equipped with these processors. Some products from Dell and HP may also be affected. Intel said that R2 Semiconductor's patents have expired in the United States and sued R2 Semiconductor in Europe.
