Analysis of the technology licensing cooperation model between CATL and Ford Motor

The cooperation model between CATL and Ford Motor was announced in February 2023, in which CATL is responsible for building and owning the battery factory, while Ford provides construction and operation services and licenses patented battery technology. This cooperation model may enable Ford to gradually master the entire process, thus hopefully getting rid of its dependence on CATL.
