Hyundai Motor Group announced that it will build its first electric vehicle specialized plant in the United States, Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA). The plant plans to start production of a number of electric models including IONIQ 5 in October this year. In addition, Guangming Plant 2 will also start mass production of compact electric sedan EV4 early next year, further enriching Hyundai Motor Group's product line in the field of electric vehicles.
