BYD Battery (Fudi Battery) market share jumps to 16% in 2023 from 14% in 2022, surpassing LG to become the second largest battery producer. This growth is due to the rise of BYD's auto brand and supply deals with third parties, including the German-made Tesla Model Y, the Chinese Toyota bZ3, Changan UNI-V, Dongfeng Nissan Venucia V-Online, and several Haval and FAW models.
