QuantumScape solid-state battery performance exceeds expectations

In December 2022, QuantumScape delivered the first batch of 24-layer solid-state batteries to automotive partners for testing. Subsequently, the company claimed to have developed batteries with higher energy density and performed beyond expectations in tests in October 2023.
