Canxin shares and SMIC cooperate to develop chips

Canxin Co., Ltd. cooperated with SMIC in chip research and development. The two parties reached a strategic cooperation in 2010 and successfully mass-produced the first 40nm chip the following year. Subsequently, the first 28nm smart mobile main chip was successfully taped out in 2015, the 40nm AI voice recognition chip was successfully taped out in 2019, and the advanced process 5G baseband chip was successfully taped out in 2022.
