Sichuan Dazhou sodium ion battery project progresses smoothly

The sodium ion battery industry comprehensive project in the Eastern Economic Development Zone of Dazhou, Sichuan is advancing rapidly. At present, the civil construction of the PACK plant of the project has been completed by 80%, and the steel structure has been completed by 70%. It is expected that the construction of the PACK plant will be completed by the end of the year, and the commissioning of two equipment lines will be carried out. The project is jointly invested by Liaoning Xingkong Sodium Battery Co., Ltd., Liaoning Hongcheng Power Supply Co., Ltd. and the Management Committee of the Eastern Economic Development Zone of Dazhou, with a total investment of about 11.5 billion yuan. It mainly involves the construction of sodium ion batteries, PACK integration, energy storage power stations, 110KV substations, distribution lines, and smart grid management systems. The project is divided into three phases. After completion, it is expected to achieve an annual output value of nearly 20 billion yuan and annual profits and taxes will exceed 1 billion yuan.
