Honda and Nissan will reportedly explore ways to jointly produce cars at each other's factories. This could include Honda supplying hybrid vehicles to Nissan, which lacks a best-selling model in the United States. In addition, since Honda only has engine and motorcycle factories in Europe, it is expected to use Nissan's car factory in the UK. According to the plan, Honda will have a dominant position in the newly established holding company, holding more than 50% of the shares. Nissan is willing to give up its dominance because it is currently facing a major crisis.
