NIO and CATL are working together to develop long-life batteries, aiming to achieve 15-year battery life with 85% health. This strategy not only solves the battery life problem, but also reduces the cost of BaaS battery rental services. It is estimated that by 2032, about 20 million new energy vehicles will face the problem of battery warranty expiration.
