Renewable energy now accounts for more than 30% of total U.S. utility-scale generating capacity and is expected to reach 37% by the end of 2027, according to the latest data released by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) and evaluated by the SUN DAY Campaign.
