Wolfspeed expands SiC substrate production capacity in the U.S. and Germany

Wolfspeed's investment projects in North Carolina, USA, and Saarland, Germany will significantly expand its SiC substrate production capacity. Among them, the U.S. project has a total investment of US$5 billion and is expected to start production in the first half of 2025; the German project will build the world's largest and most advanced 8-inch SiC device manufacturing factory.
