In the "Industry Standards for Comprehensive Utilization of Waste Power Batteries of New Energy Vehicles", specific requirements are also put forward for environmental protection and energy conservation in the comprehensive utilization of waste power batteries. For example, the lithium recovery rate in the smelting process should be no less than 90%, the recovery rates of nickel, cobalt and manganese should be no less than 98%, and the comprehensive energy consumption per unit product of lithium carbonate production should be less than 2,200 kg of standard coal per ton.
