STMicroelectronics and Soitec collaborate on silicon carbide substrate technology

STMicroelectronics has collaborated with Soitec to develop silicon carbide substrate manufacturing technology. The goal of the cooperation between the two parties is to use Soitec's SmartSiC™ technology to manufacture future 8-inch silicon carbide substrates to promote STMicroelectronics' silicon carbide device and module manufacturing business.
