The second anniversary of the establishment of the China Automotive Chip Industry Innovation Strategic Alliance

Since its establishment in 2020, the China Automotive Chip Industry Innovation Strategic Alliance has had more than 400 member units. The alliance is committed to connecting industry supply and demand, sorting out the list of available chips, improving the standard system, and accelerating the application of domestic chips. Wu Hanming, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, pointed out that with the "new four modernizations" of the automotive industry, the automotive chip market has great potential. Although the chip shortage crisis in 2021 has promoted the development of domestic automotive chips, the proportion of independent design and manufacturing is still small. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a manufacturing design integrated pilot platform to support small-batch, multi-variety, and customized innovative development.
