German Volkswagen Group reaches agreement with unions to cut more than 35,000 jobs by 2030

Germany's Volkswagen Group announced that it has reached an agreement with the union to lay off more than 35,000 employees, about a quarter of its total employees, by 2030. This move is to cope with the challenges of declining global sales and electrification transformation.
