GAC Group invests in Inpai battery factory, expects to build 36GWh production line by 2024

On December 12, the Inpai Battery Smart Ecological Factory under GAC Aion was officially completed and put into production. The factory has a total investment of 10.9 billion yuan and plans to build a 36GWh power battery and energy storage battery mass production line by 2025. The first phase of production capacity is 6GWh. At the same time, the 2.0 version of the "Magazine Battery"-P58 microcrystalline super energy battery was also released, which will be first installed on the Haobo model. According to the plan, the Inpai factory will build 30GWh power battery and energy storage battery production capacity in the future. In addition, GAC's self-developed solid-state battery with a cell energy density of up to 400 watt-hours per kilogram is planned to be mass-produced and installed in 2026.
