Guangdong Province promotes non-fossil energy consumption

According to the Guangdong Province 2024-2025 Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction Action Plan, Guangdong Province will increase the development of non-fossil energy and promote the development of offshore wind power, distributed photovoltaic power and nuclear power. The plan proposes that by the end of 2025, the proportion of non-fossil energy power generation in the province will reach about 30%. At the same time, it will also enhance the absorption capacity of renewable energy and improve the regulation capacity of the power system by building pumped storage and new energy storage facilities.
