CATL releases ultra-high safety skateboard chassis - "Rock Chassis"

On December 24, CATL released an ultra-high safety skateboard chassis called "Rock Chassis". This chassis passed the 120km/h center column collision test and achieved no fire, explosion, or diffusion, which marks a comprehensive upgrade of the safety standards for electric vehicle chassis. The Rock Chassis uses the Cell to Chassis technology to directly integrate the battery cells into the chassis structure, and pioneered a three-dimensional bionic tortoise shell structure, deeply coupling the body structure with the energy cabin structure, while superimposing an aircraft carrier-style arresting structure, effectively slowing down chassis intrusion and energy cabin deformation.
