Volkswagen's Scout to build $2 billion car production center

Although the popularity of electric vehicles in the United States has slowed down and some automakers have postponed investment or reduced production, Scout, a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, is accelerating its development. On February 15, Scout officially started construction of its $2 billion automobile production center in South Carolina.
