Bosch acquires US chipmaker TSI Semiconductor

Bosch has agreed to acquire key assets of California chipmaker TSI Semiconductor, planning to expand its production of silicon carbide chips for electric vehicles in the United States. Bosch plans to invest $1.5 billion to transform TSI's chip production facility in Roseville, California. After 2026, the wafer plant will produce 8-inch silicon carbide wafers.
