CATL enters the automotive testing field

After making cars, CATL has expanded its business to the field of automobile testing. In the future, CATL will work with automakers to develop testing standards and processes to provide customized testing services. On May 9, the State Administration for Market Regulation announced its unconditional approval of the acquisition of Beijing Automotive Research Institute Technology Co., Ltd. by CATL New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Beijing Automotive Research Institute was established on May 12, 2010 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd. It is mainly engaged in technical service business and industrial manufacturing business in the automotive field.
