GM CEO Mary Barra said that given the current slowdown in demand for electric vehicles, the company will not be able to achieve its original goal of producing 1 million electric vehicles in North America by 2025, and future electric vehicle plans and goals will be flexibly adjusted according to market demand. Audi, a subsidiary of Volkswagen, also announced that it will expand and upgrade its hybrid product line in the next few years, while retaining a dual-line layout of fuel vehicles and electric vehicles in major vehicle segments.
