In response to online doubts about the high energy consumption of the sentinel function of smart cars, we conducted actual tests. The test results show that when the three cars, Zhijie R7, Xiaomi SU7 and Xiaopeng G6, were left stationary for 14 hours, the lowest night temperature was 6°C, and the energy consumption was XX%, XX% and XX% respectively. Although the energy consumption of Zhijie R7 is relatively high, it is only equivalent to running 19 kilometers more. This result shows that the energy consumption of the sentinel mode of these three cars is not high in actual use, which is very cost-effective for improving the safety of the vehicle. Therefore, consumers do not need to worry too much about the energy consumption of smart cars.
