Global wafer fab construction status

In 2022, 33 new semiconductor factories will be started in the world, and 28 new factories are expected to be started in 2023. The latest quarterly "Global Fab Forecast" report released by SEMI shows that 42 new fabs will be opened in 2024, nearly half of which will be located in China.
