U.S. launches trade investigation into Chinese semiconductors, may increase tariffs

The United States has announced a final trade investigation into "legacy" semiconductors made in China, which could lead to more U.S. tariffs on Chinese chips that are used in everyday items such as cars, washing machines and telecommunications equipment.
