The Dalian Bay Undersea Tunnel is equipped with 15 intelligent comprehensive sensing units that can reflect the installation illumination, visibility, carbon monoxide concentration, fire temperature, etc., which are as sensitive as the nose and always pay attention to the tunnel situation. There are nearly 40,000 such sensors in the entire tunnel, which are set in appropriate positions to ensure the safety of vehicles.
