Application of MXene/CNC/WPU aerogel pressure sensor in automobile safety field

The researchers used a unidirectional freeze casting strategy to prepare MXene/CNC/WPU aerogels with a three-dimensional interconnected hierarchical microstructure, which have an excellent linear sensitivity of 224.42 kPa-1 as a pressure sensor. This highly sensitive pressure sensor has great application potential in the field of automotive safety and can be used to monitor car collisions, thereby improving car safety.
