Honda, Nissan and Mitsubishi Motors sign memorandum of understanding to establish joint holding company

Honda, Nissan and Mitsubishi Motors officially signed a memorandum of understanding on December 23, planning to establish a joint holding company in the future to integrate technology and resources. Nissan and Honda have conducted comprehensive discussions on business integration and are expected to determine the direction of integration by the end of January 2025, finalize the final cooperation agreement by June 2025, and complete the merger in 2026. Mitsubishi Motors will decide whether to participate in the final integration by the end of January 2025.
