Jiushi Intelligent completed nearly US$100 million in Series A financing to promote the launch of unmanned vehicles for urban distribution logistics

Recently, Jiushi Intelligence announced the completion of a nearly $100 million Series A financing round, led by Meituan, followed by BV Baidu Ventures, Unicorn, Xianting Fund, and Cableway Fund. Old shareholders Blue Lake Capital and Jianfa Emerging Investment continued to make additional investments, with a valuation of around $500 million. The company focuses on the research and development of unmanned vehicles for urban distribution logistics, and has now achieved market application. Jiushi Intelligence settled in Suzhou in August 2021. Its founder Kong Qi has been deeply involved in the fields of AI and unmanned driving for 20 years. He was the boss of JD.com's unmanned vehicles, and co-founder Zhuang Li was Kong Qi's subordinate at Baidu and JD.com. In August 2022, Jiushi Intelligence completed its first round of strategic financing of $30 million one year after its founding.
